Facility programs for shopping centres.
Screens, car parks, roofs and common areas, with inductions sorted before anyone arrives.
Nextage works in Australian shopping centres as owner's representative on large format digital screens, and runs car park, roofing, cleaning and maintenance work to one standard. Contractor platform and induction requirements are cleared before site access.
What comes up
The work that repeats in shopping centres.
Screens with three owners
The centre, the media operator and the asset owner each assume someone else fixes a dark screen. A working path needs one report point, spares, inducted technicians and a written close out.

Centres run contractors through platforms. Nextage is registered on LinkSafe, Rapid Global and Pegasus, and confirms each client's requirements before access.

Under most NSW leases the tenant handles non structural repairs and the landlord structural ones, but leases often do not say who replaces equipment the landlord supplied. Settling that before a program starts decides who pays for each job.

About shopping centres programs
Are you a media company?
No. On screen work Nextage specifies, installs and acts as owner's representative alongside media and centre partners. It does not sell advertising.
Is the tenant or the centre responsible for repairs?
It depends on the lease. The NSW Small Business Commissioner says a tenant is generally responsible for non structural repairs and the landlord for structural repairs, and advises telling the landlord in writing as soon as damage is found.
Who fixes a dark screen in a centre?
Whoever the contract names. Where nobody is named, it sits between the centre, the media operator and the asset owner, which is why the path should be agreed before a fault.
