Nextage supplies and installs Ramp and Rails across Australia: recycled rubber kerb ramps and threshold ramps made to measure for kerbs, door thresholds, sliding door tracks and small steps. Each one has yellow kerbing built into its sides, a P5 wet slip rating and a seven year warranty, and goes in in under an hour. We measure the opening, make the ramp to it, fit it and photograph it, at one store or across a fleet.
The problem
- A lip at a door or kerb catches feet and jolts trolleys, wheelchairs and prams.
- Stock ramps come in set sizes, so on an uneven threshold they rock, leave a gap or curl.
- Hard plastic kerb ramps, like the one in our first photo, can leave a door non compliant.

What is a kerb ramp?
A ramp that bridges the step between a car park or road and the footpath, so trolleys, prams, wheelchairs and people on foot cross without a lip. Ours are recycled rubber, made to the measured kerb, with yellow side kerbing.
What kinds of ramps do you fit?
Threshold ramps at entries and sliding doors, kerb ramps at pickup and drive up bays, step ramps, back of house door ramps, ramp wings for a side approach, notched and recessed ramps round frames and tracks, and cable protector ramps. Each is made to the measured opening.
How slip resistant are the ramps?
P5 on the wet pendulum test, the highest slip resistance class. Carborundum grit is set into the walking surface, so it grips wet or dry.
What warranty do they carry?
Seven years, covering durability and performance.
Can vehicles drive over them?
They take pedestrians, mobility aids and light vehicles. Load capacity is set for each project, so tell us what crosses the ramp and we make it to suit.
Do you fit a stock ramp or make one to the door?
We make it to the door. We measure on site and make the ramp to that opening, so it sits flat instead of rocking or leaving a gap.
How long does a door close for while the ramp goes in?
Under an hour per ramp. It fits with minimal tools, so the door does not need to close for a trading day.
Can we start with one store?
Yes. One door is enough. If you have more stores, the same ramp can then go in at each of them.
What do we get at handover?
Before and after photos of every ramp, so you have the evidence without visiting.
