The glass is already there
Replacing freezer doors or shopfront glazing across an estate is a capital project. Treating the glass you have is not, which is what makes this stageable.
The film earns its keep twice
A fogged freezer door hides the product and gets answered by running the door heaters harder. Clear film means the customer can see the stock and the heater does less work.
Solar and coating film work on the shopfront
Retail glazing lets heat in and pushes the air conditioning up. Solar control film and Liquisol coatings cut that load without darkening the store to the point where it looks shut.
Security film is a different job on the same glass
Struck glass held together by film stays in the frame. That is a safety and shrinkage question rather than an energy one, and it often gets bundled with a storefront protection program.

About OVAGLAS films
Do you have to replace the freezer doors?
No, and that is the point. The film goes onto the glass already in the cabinet, so there is no door replacement, no cabinet strip out and no capital project behind it.
Will the store be disrupted?
Installation is normally done out of trade hours, so doors do not come off line while customers are in the store.
Is Nextage an authorised OVAGLAS supplier?
Yes. Nextage supplies and installs the OVAGLAS range in Australia, so the film is the genuine product and it is installed to the manufacturer's method.
Can the freezer door film and the shopfront film run under one program?
Yes, and they usually should. If a crew is already attending a store for freezer doors, the shopfront glazing should be on the same visit rather than a second mobilisation.
How is security film different from the other films?
Same glass, different job. The freezer door and solar films are about visibility and heat. Security film is about what happens when the glass is struck, and it often sits with a storefront protection program rather than an energy one.
